American Ale - On tap in the garage

Let me first say; I am the first resident of NH to have American Ale on draught. Let me also say that it's damn good. I'm not up on the beer tasting lingo concerning color, smell, finish and taste but it passes my "yep, good beer" taste test.

It sort of reminds me a little of Sam Adam's Octoberfest but with a different taste. It's isn't quite a sweet though. I had to get a 1/2 keg instead of the 1/6th but given how well the first glass tasted I am sure myself and all of my "friends" that stop by (really just for the free beer) it will not go to waste.

The bud rep said that it should appear in the North East in the next two weeks..

Yuengling, Hartley’s, Peachey’s beefstick and Penns Creek

It’s almost that time of year again; opening day of trout season in Central PA. Nothing could be finer than hitting the stream, baiting on that wax worm and making that first cast. Doesn’t matter if you catch a lot or not even get a bite; it’s about being outside, enjoying the surroundings and then polishing off a few cold ones while you eat more chips and beef stick than you should.
